FATAL ACCIDENT OCCURS WHEN MOTOR-CAR SKIDS.
Per Press Association. MASTERTON, August 29. Wilfred Wrigley Payne, senior clerk ol the telegraph engineer's office, Masterton, was killed early this evening as a result of a motoring accident near Tinui. Only meagre details are available, but it is reported that his car skidded in mud on the roadside and capsized, deceased being pinned underneath. Death apparently was instantaneous. Deceased, who was thirty-two years of age, was a married man with one child.
