lodge holds meeting. The quarterly meeting of the Loyal City of Norwich Lodge was held on Tuesday evening, when N.G. Brother A. A. Kayes presided. One new member was initiated. Sick pay amounting to £36 and accounts amounting to £ll7 lls 4d were passed for payment. The receipts of the evening amounted to £230 18s 2d. Brother Arnold, of H.M.S. Dunedin, and a member of the Loyal St Helier’s Lodge, Auckland, was present and was welcomed by the N.G. The report of the Management Committee recommended that certain provisions of the ritual now in use be carried out, and the main recommendations were adopted by the lodge. It was decided that the lodge procure copies of the latest ritual now in use by the Board of Directors, Manchester Unity. It was decided that the eightieth anniversary of the lodge be celebrated by a dance and social, and the officers of the lodge, with power to add. be a committee to carry out the arrangements. Nominations for District Officers were received. D.P.G.M. Brother P. Ilaglund was nominated for the office of Provincial Grand Master, and Past Grands Brothers J. IT. Fl\%n and G. C. The crowning ceremony in connection with the West Lyttelton School queen carnival will be held in the Oddfellows’ Hall this evening. The queen is Miss Phyllis May. A good programme has been arranged and, as usual, honours will be conferred. Diamond Harbour Golf Club.
