The meeting of the St John, Ambulance Association, called for last evening, was' adjourned for a week owing to the death of the chairman, Mr J. A. Flesher, who had occupied that position since 1921. Dr J. Restell Thomas was in the chair. He said that it was his unfortunate duty to refer to the of. their chairman. Thedate -Mr Flesher, he said, had been a member of theiF committee since 1915/ arid chairman since 1921. Lieutenant-Colonel Creswell said that the association had’ to tharily Mr Flesher for the excellent position ‘they were jn to-day. He was the one who guided the financial polic3' of the association and put them on the right track. “We will miss him,” he said, “and will miss him even more as time goes on.” He moved that the meeting adjourn for a week. This was seconded by Mr W. T. Charlewood and carried.
