ROYAL ARCADE AT DUNEDIN TO CLOSE.

Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, August 21. Used since the early days of Dunedin as a public thoroughfare, the Royal Arcade is to be demolished. All the proprietary company's shop tenants have been given a month’s notice. As* soon as the tenants vacate, each end will be fenced. It is stated that the company has been approached with a view to the erection on the site of a modern hotel.
