Charged with stealing silver to the value of £250 from his former employer, Colonel M. Roraer, at Great Addington, near Thrapston, George Wilton, a ninetecn-year-old pantry boy* was sent to Borstal for three years at Northampton Assizes. Mr Justice Acton described the thefts as deliberate and systematic.
