CLEAN BEFORE YOU PUT AWAY.
Do take adequate precaution against moths before putting away winter coats. They should be cleaned and moth-proofed. The cleaning is almost more important than the proofing, for the larvae feed on grease, and one grease spot on the garment may prove its rmdoing. Some of the large firms of cleaners and dyers now undertake a mothproofing process. Alternatively, the coat should be treated with one of the moth preventives sold for home use.
