The question of the disposal of the City Council’s old horses came up for discussion at the meeting of the CanSociety for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals yesterday. It was decided to make an offer of 10s to the council for one aged horse so that it could be destroyed. The inspector stated that all the other horses disposed of were being well treated.
