£550,000 TO BE SPENT ON ELECTRICITY SCHEMES.

The Central Electricity Board has placed further important contracts to the value of nearly £550,000 in connection with the electricity schemes w’hich are now being carried into effect. The contracts are for the supply of hightension cables for carrying current from the series of great generating stations in the various areas into which the country is divided.
