A Melbourne girl who has achieved considerable fame abroad as an artist is Miss Elma Roach, who left Melbourne two years ago to study art in Europe. She was represented at the recent exhibition of the Victorian Artists’ Society, and water-colours bearing her signature have been exhibited in the Paris Salon, the British Academy, and the Women’s International Art Club, London.
