WHEAT REACHES LOW LEVELS IN AMERICA.
CANADIAN CROP NOW DEPENDS ON WEATHER. (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received July 12. 10.10 a.m.) OTTAWA, July 11. Much depends upon the July weather as to the size of the Canadian spring wheat crcp. The Bureau of Statistics, therefore, in a crop report does not estimate in bushels as at the end of June, but reports the condition of the crop at 91 per cent of the ten-year average. At that date this would bring the total in the. neighbourhood of 365,000,000 bushels, but much can happen before the harvesting. A Winnipeg message states that wheat reached new lc*w levels to-day. Closing rates were: July, 93 cents a bushel; October, 90S cents; December, 984 cents. A Chicago message says that July wheat to-day sank to 853 cents a fcushel, the lowest since 1914, and closed at 86£ cents. September closed at S9§ cents, December at 951 cents.
