ENTHUSIASTS GET IN EARLY FOR FOURTH TEST
While the majority of South Island Rugby football enthusiasts will think twice of the expense of going to Auckland for the third test match between Britain and New Zealand, there are many who will not miss the opportunity of seeing the final test at Wellington. The Union Steam Ship Company is booking passengers to Wellington by the Maori, which will sail for Wellington from Lj'ttelton on the evening of Friday, August 8, but there is no truth in a rumour, which seems to be current, in the city that the steamer is already fully booked up. The act-ing-manager ol‘ the company said today that there was still ample accomodation on the vessel. In the event of the steamer’s accomodation being fully booked up, it would be a matter for the head office at Wellington to decide whether an additional vessel would be brought into use. He did not anticipate, however, that such a course would be necessary. He pointed out that only 500 passengers came from the North Island to witness the second test match at Christchurch.
