(Special to the “ Star.”) AUCKLAND, July 11After a. busy morning yesterday business on the exchange quietened down and only a small number of additional sales had been recorded when this morning's call terminated, although bank shares and other Australian securities were This morning there was no marked drop in values. A buyer came forward for Australasias, but at £ll 17s 6d his bid was well under recent sale prices. Nationals of Australasia were offered at £l4 10s, and the contributing issue at £7 2s. Wales, after a sale yesterday at £3B, were still offered at the same figure. A good-sized parcel of Commercial Banks changed hands at £1 Is Id. At the noon call for Australians of Commerce, buyers dropped back to £1 ~2s, for Union Banks to £ll os, ana for National of Australasia to £l4 -s 6d. Wales eased further with a sale at £37 15s. Imperial Tobacco, which was first quoted this -week, was asked at £4 10s for the £5 share.
