CONFERENCE HELD ON MILK SUPPLY QUESTION.

The executive body of ihe newlyformed Milk Producers’ Co-operative Association met last evening in conference with the Dairymen’s Association when, after a very iengthy and friendly discussion, the following resolutions

were passed unanimously:—(l) That the conference affirms the desirability of the Producers’ Association meeting with all of the retailers of milk in and about the city of Christchurch, to discuss matters of mutual interest and (2) that a full meeting of both of the associations be called at the earliest convenient date for the purpose ol further discussing ways and means of cooperation.
