LADY WARD.

The new Lady Ward, who is very well known in social circles in Christchurch, was a Miss Davidson, from Cleveland, Australia. . Sir Cyril and Lady Wa'rd’s beautiful home is situated in Merivale Lane. Lady Ward, w r ho has spent the greater part of her married life in this city, is a keen golfer and has been a member of the Christchurch Ladies* Club for a number of years. She is very fond of tennis, and plays a great deal on her own court. Sir Cyril and Lady Ward have six bonny children, Joseph, Cyril James, Theresa, Bruce, David and John.
