CAR DRIVER FINED £2O FOR DRUNKENNESS.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 30. Sydney Harvey Bernard was fined £2O in the Police Court for being drunk in charge of a car. The Magistrate said that accused was a decent young man, and he would not cancel the license, but for the safety of the public he would have to inflict a heavy fine.
