FIRESIDE PUZZLES COMPETITION.

THE CHILDREN S BIG CHANCE. The “ Star ” has always shown great enterprise in catering for the needs of its tiny readers, and its latest venture in instituting a monster puzzle competition, with £SO to be distributed as prizes, is certain to meet with success. The puzzles can be solved by a cosy fire at home, and require neither the brains of genius or very sustained effort. The first of the series will be found in next Thursday’s Comic, and boys and girls will be well advised to order their copy in advance. The greatest interest has already been evinced. Some lucky boy or girl will win the first prize of £2O, the second of £lO, the third of £5, or five others of £1 each. Make up your mind now to enter. Full particulars on Thursday.
