“NO AUTHORITY TO ACT FOR UNEMPLOYED.”

A meeting of the Organised Unemployed and Relief \V T orkers’ Committee was held yesterday afternoon when, after a lengthy sitting, it was decided to make the following announcement: “ Mr S. Fournier having been removed from our committee, no longer has any authority to act or speak for, on behalf of the Christchurch Organised Unemployed and Relief Workers’ Committee.” The secretary of the commiteee. Mr A. C. O’Connell, told a reporter that he had no announcement to make.
