MAGISTRATE’S COURT.

CHRISTCHURCH. (Before Mr E D. Mosley, S.M.) Traffic Gases. For dangerous driving John Edward Andrews was fined 20s and costs. The following were fined for negligent driving:—Herbert George Horl (Mr Twyneham) £2 and costs, Robert Oscar James Jay (Mr Stacey), 20s and costs, Arthur Moss, £3 and costs, Horace Knight Payne (Mr Stacey), 20s and costs. Roderick Alexander Kennedy (Mr Thomas) was convicted and discharged for a similar offence. Nattie Woods was fined 5s and costs for driving at night without headlights and was convicted and discharged for not having a rear light. For parking a car at night without lights, Geoffrey Thomas Alley was ordered to pay costs. John E. Fitzpatrick was fined 10s and costs. John Andrews was fined £2 and costs for failing to give way. Charles E. Blacklock (Mr Burns) was fined £3 and costs for a similar o^ence. Henry Box was fined 20s and costs for leaving an unlighted vehicle in the road. For cycling on the footpath, Walter Smith Dick was fined 10s and costs.
