Quito tlio best picture that they have teamed in to date is “Charming Sinners,” which Miss Ruth Chatterton and Clive Brook have made from one of Somer-

set Maugham’s stories. Three other famous artists are in the cast, William Powell, Mary Nolan and Montagu Love. Miss Chatterton and Clive Brook as Mrs and Dr Miles; William Powell is the old adorer of the lady. Mary Nolan and the doctor are involved in a serious flirtation; and Montagu Love is thte suspicious husband of that lady. Mrs Miles decides, with the unconscious aid of Powell, to cure her hus band for ever of his little wenknes

And witli her own native, female subtlety, and with the aid of Somerset Maugham’s wit and humour, she does so. The box plans are now at the Bristol Piano Company.
