CHINESE GOVERNMENT TO SEARCH ALL SHIPS.

NANKING SEEKING CONTRABAND ARMS. (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) TOKIO, May 14. Official notification has been received in Tokio from Nanking that the Government has issued instructions that vessels of every nationality proceeding to or leaving Tientsin are to be stopped and searched, and that any arms or munitions considered to be contraband are to be confiscated. In the event of such orders being carried dut, officials at Tokio foresee complications in the international situation.
