AUTUMN SHOW IS HELD AT WOOLSTON
MANY FINE FLOWERS, DESPITE LATE SEASON. The Woolston Horticultural Society's Autumn Show was held in the Woolston School to-day, many fine blooms being exhibited. Owing to a late season, fewer entries were received this year, but the flowers exhibited were of a vry high standard, this being especially so in the chrysanthemum section. Yegetables were a feature of the show anil the fruit section was particularly good. The cookery and needlework sections were well patronised, and as always is the case, made an attractive showing. The following prizes for premier blooms were awarded: Premier Japanese bloom: E. B. Guy. Premier Japanese incurved: E. B. Guy. Premier Chinese: A. E. Petheran. Best bloom in show: E. B. Guy.
