HAS NO WISH TO RETIRE YET.

MR S. S. ALLEN DENIES REPORTS CIRCULATED. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 2. There is no truth whatever in the report circulated in Auckland that Mr S. S. Allen, Administrator of Western Samoa, contemplates retiring from that position. His father-in-law, Mr A. L. Foster, who lives in Auckland, said that Mr Allen’s recent letters had contained nothing that would lend colour to such a report, and to-day a radio message was received in Auckland from Mr Allen stating definitely that he had expressed no wish to retire.
