NEW CHIEF OF STAFF FOR AUSTRALIAN ARMY.
(United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) MELBOURNE, May 2. Major-General W. A. Coxen, C. 8., C.M.G., has been appointed Chief of the General Staff of the Australian Army. He is regarded as the finest Quartermaster-General the army has ever had. He raised and toctfc from Australia to the Great War the Royal Australia Seige Brigade, and during 1918, on the Western Front, commanded a great aggregation of artillery.
