INQUEST IS OPENED INTO CHILD'S DEATH.

An inquest into the death of Brian Smith Durie. six weeks of age, who died suddenly this morning, was opened to-day by Mr E. D. Mosley, coroner. Allan Smith Durie, 102, Wildberry Street, Woolston, father of the child, said that it began to cry late last night. It became quiet, and itj mother thought that it had fallen asleep. Witness, becoming alarmed, rang for Dr Gray, who found that the child was dead. The inquest was adjourned sine die in order that a post motem may be held.
