WAKEFIELD NOT TO COME TO DOMINION.
HAS BEEN REPLACED BY D. KENDREW, OF ENGLAND (Received April 2, noon.) LONDON, April 1. W. W. Wakefield, originally chosen as captain, has withdrawn from the British football team to tour New Zealand. The injury which he sustained in January refuses to yield to treatment. D. A. Kendrew, an English international, will replace Wakefield. Kendrew, like Wakefield, is a forward. He played for England in the recent matches against Ireland and France.
