200 CONVICTS DIE ON DEVIL'S ISLAND.

(United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) PARIS, April 1. Two hundred out of 673 convicts sent to Devil’s Island in November, were dead by March, according to a warder’s letter to a relative. The dead included the murderers Barataud and Mestorino. Thev were victims of psittacosis.
