SUMNER-LYTTELTON ROAD. The work of tar-sealing the SumnerLyttelton Road from the top of Evans Pass to the Signal Station having been completed, a number of the council’s employees are engaged in repairing the footpath from the corneF known as Windy Point to the Signal Station. In view of the large number of residents that are in the habit of taking their evening walk along this road, especially during the summer months, the improvements in hand will be welcomed. LYTTELTON BOWLING CLUB. At a meeting of the Lyttelton Bowling Club it was decided to hold the closing game of the season on Saturday next, when a match East v. West Lyttelton will be played, commencing 1.45 p.m.
