CARNERA DELIVERS ANOTHER KNOCK-OUT.
(United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph-^opyricht.) NEW YORK, March 29. A message from Denver, Colorado, states that the Italian giant, Primo Camera (2751 b) knocked out M’Auliffe (207i1b) in the first of a scheduled tenround bout, with a straight right to the jaw. M’Auliffe made the mistake of wading in to the Italian’s blows. He fell twice for the count‘of eight before the knock-out.
Camera’s record in America to date is:— New York—Beat Petersen, 70see. Chicago—Beat Rioux, 47sec. Newark (N.J.) —Beat Owens, 3min St Louis—Beat Martin, 3min 56sec. Memphis (Tenn.)—Beat Signan, 95 sec. Oklahoma City—Beat Erickson, 4min 45sec. New Orleans—Beat Lodge, second round. Philadelphia—Beat Clark, sixth i round. Minneapolis—Beat Montgomery, secv ond round. St Louis—Beat Wiggins, second round. Kansas City—Beat Trafton, 54sec. In the first ten of these contests the Italian boxer earned more than £20,675. He has now signed a contract to appear as Hercules in a film, fqr which he is to receive £30,000.
