LARGE TOMB FOUND IN VICINITY OF SPHINX.
(United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) CAIRO, February 10. The biggest tomb yet discovered in Egypt has been found in the vicinity of the Sphinx. No less than forty-five statues, some in perfect condition, were discovered in the tomb, which is the burial place of Raouer, High Priest of Nekheb. He is also described in the inscriptions as “ Major-Domo of the Palace, Master of the Royal Wardrobe, King’s Barber, Prince of the Pot, and Master of Ceremonies.”
