(Received February 10, 12.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, February 10. A man named York, whose evidence led to the conviction of a razor gangster in Sydney eighteen months ago, has appealed to the police here for protection for himself and his wife. He states that they have been hounded out of Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide by underworld friends of the convicted man and are now destitute and in the fear of their lives, unless they can escape from Australia.
