BURGLARS BREAK OPEN CASH REGISTER; TAKE £8
Per Press Association. WAIPUKURAU, February 10. The premises of Marko Ujdur, at Waipukurau, a fish and oyster saloon, were entered by burglars early yesterday morning. The cash register was broken and the sum of £8 6s 9d, mostly in threepences and sixpences, was stolen. Access was gained by forcing the lock of the back door, after finding that entrance by a small window was impossible.
