HAROLD LLOYD STARS IN FINE FILM, “SPEEDY.”
The management of the Grand Theatre announces the screening this week of two exceptionally fine pictures, the first being the Harold Lloyd comedy, “Speedy,” and the second, Pola Negri’s drama, “ The Woman on Trial.” The programme will be completed by an interesting number of gazettes, newsreels, cartoons and short comedies, as well as the next chapter of that absorbing chapter .play, “The Final Reckoning,” which is an exciting melodrama of the early gold-mining days, in Australia. “ Speedy ” is one of the most amusing of all the very amusing comedies that Harold Lloyd has made. “ The Woman on Trial ” Is a <lrama written by a Hungarian playwright, and a very apt vehicle for the tempera-: mental talents of the Polish star. Miss Negri. The box plans are at The Bristol Piano Company, where seats may be reserved.
