FAREWELL MESSAGE TO PEOPLE OF N.Z.

SIR C, FERGUSSON SENDS EXPRESSION OF THANKS. (Special to the “ Star.”) WELLINGTON, February 10. His Excellency the Administrator (Sir Michael Myers) has received the following wireless message from Sir Charles Fergusson:— “Being now beyond the territory limits of New Zealand, Lady Alice Fergusson and I send to you and the people of New Zealand our warmest thanks for untold kindness during five happy Sears, and for the wonderful farewell ley have given to us on our departure. We leave with the happiest memories and bid one and all an affectionate farewell.” A reply was sent as follows: “I thank you on behalf of the people of New Zealand for the kindly message expressed in your radiogram. The people, one and all, have made abundantly clear during your farewell visits through the Dominion their sadness at parting with you both, and they will always remember with gratitude your own and Lady Alice Fergusson's great services during the past five years. Michael Myers, Administrator.”
