FORKS OF CYCLE BREAK, CAUSING AN ACCIDENT.

(Special to the “Star.”) ASHBURTON, February 3.

While cycling on the main south road at Dromore last evening, A. Moore, of Ashburton East, fell from his machine, sustaining injuries to his face and the back of his hands. The forks of the cycle broke and he fell face downwards on to the metal. He was unconscious when two boys who accompanied him went to his assistance but recovered shortly after and was taken to his home by a passing motorcar. His injuries are not serious.
