REVISED PRAYER BOOK TO BE USED IN FUTURE.

The Indian Episcopal Synod, when meeting at Calcutta, adopted a new constitution of canons and rules for the Church, and adopted the resolution requesting the Government to appoint March 1 as a date for the legal severance of the Church of India, Burma and Ceylon from the Church of England.
The Synod further decided to permit the churches to use the revised Prayer Book, except the controversial parts of the Communion Service.
