A further development of the big experiment in speeding up Empire communications is under active consideration by the authorities now that the Home trials of two new British airships, RIOO and RlOl have been completed. It is believed that the vessels have entirely justified themselves from the technical and constructional viewpoints, and that the possibilities of utilising such ships for commercial operation, or of effecting improvements in new construction that may be contemplated for this purpose, are being examined.
