WOMAN DISAPPEARS FROM SISTER’S HOME.
Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, February 3. Mrs C. Hooper, of Hawera, who was suffering from ill-health and had been staying with her sister, Mrs B. Dunbar, of Urenui, disappeared at 8 p.m. on Saturday. Search parties were out all Saturday night, and at daylight found foot prints on the river bank, but none returning. Dragging operations so far have revealed nothing.
