Crowd Form Procession And March To Church Carrying Banners. (United Press Association.—J3y Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received January 20, 10.40 a.m.) LONDON, January 19. Following protests against the use of the 1928 Prayer Book in Exeter Cathedral, more than 100 took part in a procession to the Cathedral carrying banners appealing to the Government to restrain the Bishops from introducing an illegal and- unscriptural Prayer Book. A large crowd witnessed the ceremony of a copy of the 1928 book being soaked in petrol and being burned in the Cathedral close.
