The market is steady at slightly higher prices ruling earlier in the week. Danish—l62s f.0.b.; 169 s to l«2s spot. Dutch—Unsalted, 170 p to lS2s per cWU Polish—l4os to 146 s per cwt. The Xew Zealand retail price was reduced to 7d. The Danish retail price was reduced.to Is Bd. CHEESE. New Zealand—White, 85s to 87a per cwt; coloured, 83a to 84s per cwt. The market is quiet. The market for Xew Zealand is steady, the retail price being lid and Is. Deliveries of Canadian were 6400 boxes, in store 160,500 boxes. English finest farmers, 110 s to 116 s, ex 120 s. Rangitiki commenced to discharge butter and cheese January 10. Port Hunter completed discharge of cheese on January 13.
