TONNAGE SHOWS BIG DECREASE

CARRIAGE OF GOODS THROUGH OTIRA. The dislocation of traffic on the West Coast on account of wash-outs on the line following the heavy rains has been responsible for a big drop in the tonnage of .goods carried through the Otira tunnel last week.
