PRIME MINISTER BLAMES GOVERNMENT OF N.S.W. FOR CLASH.
(Received December 18, 11.30 a.m.) MELBOURNE, December 18.
Referring to the shooting at Rothbury, the Prime Minister, Mr J. H. Scullin, said: “ This unfortunate clash has been precipitated by the action of the New South Wales Government in attempting to open the mine at redued wages. This had been followed by another grave error in the refusal of the Bavin Government to attend the Arbitration conference.”
