BURSARY IN MEMORY OF BRAVE OFFICERS.
(Special to the “ Star.”) WELLINGTON, December 11. In memory of his two sons who made the supreme sacrifice. Captain Oscar E. Gallie, D. 5.0., M.C., R V F.A., and Captain Victor J. Gallie, M.C.. C. de G., R.F.A., Mr John Gallie, of Kelburn, has paid to the Public Trustee £IOOO for the establishment of a bursary at Wellington College. In notifying the Board of Governors, he .said his desire was that it might stimulate the recipient of the award to emulate his sons, both old boys, in character, patriotism and devotion to duty.
