Two half-crowns, which have been passed over the counter as genuine money, but which the bank has rejected. Although the money is a very good imitation of the genuine coin, it is muc h lighter and of a darker colour. The bottom half-crown was fairly easily broken with the hands. The top coin is cracked across the centre. —“Star” photo.
