HAROLD LLOYD COMEDY WILL HEAD NEW BILL AT GRAND THEATRE.

It is too long since a Harold Lloyd comedy has been screened in the city, but next week, at. the Grand Theatre, “ For Heaven’s Sake ” will be the main attraction. The second big picture is also a, comedy, “Tilly’s Punctured Romance,’ with a trio of stars in the cast, Louise Fazenda. Chester Conklin and W. C. Fields. “ For Heaven’s Sake ” is one of Harold Lloyd’s brightest efforts in the comedy field. He has utilised that most necessary thing, a really sound story; he has gone about the business of “ gags ” in a workmanlike, methodical manner; he has Jobyna Ralston as his leading lady; and he accomplishes a comedy that is a comedy, something/ quick, jolly and in which there is always something happening. The second picture, “ Tilly’s Punctured Romance,” is an amusing satire on the old circus melodrama, and Louise Fazenda, W. C. Fields and Chester Conklin set a merry pace at the beginning, and do not let up fpr ° ne The seventh chapter of * The Pirate of Panama,” from the story by William M Leod Raine, will also be screened, one of the most exciting chapters in the tale. A programme of gazettes, short stories and cartoons will also he on the hill. the box plans are at The Bristol Piano Compauy, where seats may be reser\ed.
