AMURI FLOWER SHOW HELD AT ROTHERHAM.
. The annual Amuri flower show, held rotation at the three centres of the district, was held under ideal conditions at the Rotherham Hall on Wednesday. Though the conditions this spring have, been most unfavourable, there was a splendid display. The secretary, All* H. T. Knight, with a strong committee, had all arrangements well in hand. Air W. A. Erasinusson, of Christcnurch, gave every satisfaction as Judge. He said that the exhibits, considering the season, were of a high standard. The show was one of the best country shows he had seen. He donated a special prize of one guinea for a new class next year. Dr Smale, at the request of the president, Air G. T. White opened the show. Airs Polhill, with a willing band of helpers, attended to the afternoon tea, which was well patronised. There was a large attendance of the public.
