INTERCHANGE OF TEACHERS.
Two meetings were held at Geneva ■ by committees of the International Federation of University Women recently, when the question of the inter- . change of secondary teachers was con- , sidered. Representatives of sixteen countries attended, when the subject of interchange in all its bearings was thoroughly gone into, the result of the meeting being forwarded to a second meeting o£ the International Committee. The convener of this committee is the Lyzeal-direktorin Anna Schonborn, the other members being Miss M. G. Beard, Miss Valentine Chandor, Professor Much-Benndorf, Misfs IlallstenKallia, Dr D. Zollinger-Rudolf. The New ' Zealand Federation has been asked to co-operate in promoting the work of exchange, and ‘ any local secondary school teachers who wish to teach in another country on exchange should write to the secretary of the Wellington Federation of University Women at the University Women’s Club.
