TRAINING COLLEGE STUDENTS.

Over 200 students from the Training College laid aside their books yesterday morning and set out by train for Lyttelton, thence to Diamond Harbour, for their annual picnic. No set programme had been prepared for the day, but most of the picnickers had bathing gear stowed away in their hampers, while others were equipped for tramping. A wind-up dance was held last night. The break-up for the year takes place this morning at an informal morning tea. The Hon If. Atrnore will be present at this function. A children's fancy dress dance will be held in the i--.ii i„ evening.
