LATE SOCIAL NEWS.
The 1929 copy of St Margaret’s College Magazine, which has just been published,contains several praiseworthy works of the pupils. BeiSldes the usual school note?;, accounts of the various events during the year, and news of old girls, there are many original contributions, both in prose and poetry, that reach a high standard in secondary school literary efforts. The junior students of the School of Art held their annual picnic to-day at Diamond Harbour, when about one hundred boys and girls spent a carefree day in swimming and games. A children’s dance will be held in the Training College Hall to-morrow evening. __________
