TERRIFIC CHEERS greeted the jury’s verdict of “ murder by a person unknown,” at the conclusion of the inquest of the Reading tobacconist, Mr Oliver, who was found murdered on June 22. Mr Philip Yale Drew, the actor, who has been a principal figure in the case, was heartily cheered and mobbed by the vast crowd when he left the court. Mr Drew is seen in the circle, being helped along by the police to his hotel. At the right Mr Drew is seen on his way to the Coroner's Court.
