There lias been some doubt expressed as to whether the bridge will be completed by the contract time—March 8, 1930but Mr G. F. Drury, the contractor, is certain that be will be able to get the work completed. The picture shows the work from the south bank. The abutment pier lias been completed on this bank, and the girders have been placed on the next two piers. The other two piers shown in the picture will be ready shortly for the girders, while piles have been driven for another three piers.
